About

I am a fully insured Pony Club and British Horse Society Accredited Professional Coach, UKCC2 and Stage 4 teach and SM. While I regularly teach at BHS approved centres I also work with a range of clients privately on their own horses and towards training for exams and competitions.

Check out my most recent reviews here

Learning to ride is an incredible experience and privilege, it’s supposed to be fun for you and the horse. I aim to promote the most positive and honest experience possible with each client and their horse I work with. My specialist interest lies in the biomechanics of horse and rider, the more softly we speak to our horses the more intently they listen.

Underpinning all of my lessons are the absolutely incredible experiences i gained through Training the Teachers of Tomorrow and the elite trainers I regularly trained with. I have competed my own and clients horses with British Eventing and dressage. Most of all I love seeing those I teach far exceed what they ever imagined was possible, fortunately this happens quite regularly.

To find out if there is a way I can help you either progress through your training, return to the saddle please call (07799 627325) or email me using the contact form.

Hello, i bought my t.b mare in june and have slowly been getting to no her. I previously owned a cob for 13yrs so this mare is totally different. I need help with confidence when she decides to be a bit joggy, i am very much used to a more sturdy steady mount so i get a little unnerved..very frustrated with myself, She has superb manners but lacks education in few areas. Hope you can help. Im in rogate petersfield. Regards julue

Hi Jane, that certainly sounds like a familiar situation which I can help with. Would you be able to call me or send me a text and let me know the best time to get hold of you and we can arrange how to go forward from there. 07799 627325. Briony

Hi – we live in steep marsh and my daughter is 15 and would like a lesson – can you let me know costs please… and if you can come to us.. we have a small paddock. Our horse is 8 and we’ve had him 5 months and he holds his head up, so it would be a flat work lesson.
    Many thanks

Hi Nicola, you’re incredibly close! Could you text/call me and we can discuss 07799627325. It’s usually £35 but as I won’t be needing to charge travelling it will be £30. We also have a sch if you’d prefer but either way is fine. Hopefully speak soon.
